Fair Usage Policy
This Fair Usage Policy defines how FTOSINT resources and API quotas must be used to ensure a fair, reliable experience for all users. It applies to every account, regardless of plan.
2. Quota & Credits Usage
- Daily quotas reset at 00:00 IST and do not roll over.
- Credits are consumed per request and are non-transferable between accounts.
- Bulk or automated requests must stay within your plan's stated rate limits.
- Do not attempt to bypass quotas by creating multiple accounts or using shared keys in a way that exceeds your limit.
3. Unacceptable Use
- Making requests solely to stress-test, benchmark, or abuse the Service.
- Harvesting data at rates that degrade performance for other users.
- Using the Service for stalking, harassment, or unlawful surveillance.
- Circumventing rate limits, captcha, or security controls.
- Reselling API access or aggregated data without prior permission.
4. Rate Limits & Throttling
To protect stability, requests that exceed configured rate limits may be throttled or temporarily blocked. Throttling is automatic and reversible. Continued abuse may lead to suspension of the affected key or account.
5. Resource Considerations
Large payloads or high-frequency polling place strain on shared infrastructure. We ask users to cache responses where practical and avoid redundant polling. We reserve the right to adjust limits to maintain service health for all users.
6. Enforcement
Violations of this policy may result in warnings, temporary throttling, or permanent suspension without refund, depending on severity and repetition. We review each case on its merits and aim to be fair and proportionate.
