Terms of Service

By accessing or using FTOSINT ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.

2. Account & API Key

Access to FTOSINT APIs requires a valid API key. You agree to:

• Keep your API key confidential and never share it with third parties.
• Immediately notify us if your key is compromised or misused.
• Accept responsibility for all requests made with your key, including any misuse by third parties who gain access to it.
• Provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.

We reserve the right to suspend or revoke keys that are shared, abused, or used in violation of these terms.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the Service for lawful purposes only. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

• Using the Service for stalking, harassment, or any unlawful surveillance.
• Attempting to access, modify, or interfere with data you are not authorized to access.
• Reverse engineering, scraping, or circumventing rate limits or security controls.
• Reselling or redistributing API access without prior written consent.
• Using the Service in a manner that violates applicable local, national, or international law.

4. Quotas & Limits

Each plan includes a daily quota. Quotas are reset daily and do not roll over. Exceeding your quota may result in temporary throttling until the next reset. Credits purchased are valid until consumed and do not expire within the validity period of your plan.

5. Data Usage & Scraping Restrictions

Bulk data extraction or heavy automated scraping is strictly prohibited under this plan.

Standard APIs are meant for regular query-based usage only.

6. API Response Structure Updates

The API response format is periodically updated (every 4–8 weeks) to improve performance and data accuracy.

We recommend dynamic parsing in your integration — do not hardcode field positions or rely on static structures.

To stay updated, simply contact our support with your integration ID and we will provide the latest response schema.

7. Recommended Integration Practice

For resellers and clone API users, we suggest the following approach:

"We regularly enhance our API with new filters and features. If you'd like the latest version of the integration code, just reach out to our team and we'll share the updated endpoint structure with additional filtering options (e.g., field-level exclusions, response trimming, and custom output formatting)."

8. Fair Usage

Please do not use standard or personal APIs for scraping-intensive tasks. Full details are covered in our dedicated Fair Usage Policy.

9. No Warranty

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Data returned by the Service is aggregated from publicly available sources and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FTOSINT and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 30 days preceding the claim.
